Biography

Mashud Elia, born in Kamshlie Syria. He lived in the periods of wars that he can’t forget till now. He always had a plenty of time to do a lot of things, but he choose for music to spend his time with. After that he absorbed in music he became to the idée that the Aramaic Folk needs singers. And from this moment he did his best to present music to the people on a top level.

In 1986 begun Mashud with his first music lessons and in 1987 he begun with professional Suryoyo music sang lessons. And from that moment, he worked with al lot of singers like:
Jacoub Khanou;
Ishak Jacoub;
Fouad Spier;
And al lots more.

After that he learned a lot from this singers, he begun to increase his talent and teach others music to create new talents too.

Mashud love to help his church and his folk: “I have helped the churches and the hedro`s for almost 20 years, I sing for free en use different instruments to amusement the listeners”, explains Mashud.

In 1994 had Mashud created his first CD. And after that he create a few more CDs, that all have fantastic Suryoyo songs that you have to listen.
